Introduction to Load Restraint (Mass, Dimensions and Loading)

Our Introduction to Load Restraint training is designed to give the learner a foundation in the basic principles of Load Restraint.

The half-day Load Restraint course is designed to meet the specific needs and loads of your business.

If you work in the Transport and Logistics industry and play any role in the loading of a Heavy Vehicle you must meet your obligations under current legislation. If you influence or control a transport task such as ‘loading’ you need to be assured that the vehicle is being safely unloaded / loaded on your site.

Learn the basic legislation around the Mass, Dimension and Loading requirements a Heavy / Light Vehicle must meet before leaving site.

The course is designed as an Introduction to the elements that contribute to Load Restraint and is suitable from beginner to intermediate level.

National Transport Commission Chief Executive, Paul Retter :

“If you’re involved in packing, loading, moving or unloading any type of vehicle, you are responsible for complying with load restraint laws. Restraining your load is not complex, but it does require training and knowledge.”
